| Required for Play: 2 dice for each player-1 extra dice as multiplier. At least ten "riches" to play with (pennies, tokens, jellybeans, etc) Game Play: Each participant has two dice that they roll at the same time. Whoever has the greater total wins. The winner gets one of the "riches" from the other player. For example player A rolls a 2 and 4 (total 6) and player B rolls a 5 and 6 (total 11). Player B wins as 11 beats 6. One of riches changes hands. If a player rolls two 1's they must give up two "riches". If a player rolls two 6s they win two "riches". If it should happen one player rolls a total of 12 and the other rolls a total of 2, four "riches" will change hands. If the players roll a total that is equal, regardless of combination, the fifth dice is rolled by the player who has the least amount of chips. The # rolled represents the # of riches in play as a "bonus pot" and will be awarded to the winner of the next roll. If on the tie-breaking roll players are tied, roll the fifth die again. If the # rolled is greater than the previous "bonus pot" use this value. If it be lower, go with the previous "bonus pot". A player wins only after the final roll when their opponent has nothing left to play with. The last roll where the other player had "no riches" is called "hope for reinforcements". The fifth die is rolled to determine how many "riches" he will get if he is lucky to win his last roll. If they should lose this roll the game is over as they have no riches and reinforcements are not coming. |
