Entry 1

She looked at the numbers again. They matched. All six were there. And then her eyes glanced up and she realized the dates did not match. Elizabeth had forgotten to play their numbers. Her smile began to droop. She tried to hide the news, but George had picked up on it.

"Baby, what's wrong" asked George

"Please promise me you won't be upset..." Elizabeth began

"Okay?" Said George with puzzlement

"We didn't win"

"WHAT!"

Entry 2

She looked at the numbers again. They matched. All six were there. And then her eyes all teared up. All her dream, all her hopes were finally realized. George would ask her to marry him. They would buy that white picket fence lined house. She fianlly have some kids before she got too old.

" I got to go meet the guys at the Milano's. They're not going to belive my luck"

"You luck?"

"Yeah baby, I'm set for life. No more problems, no more work, no more commitments"

"Oh really?" asked Elizabeth starting to see her dream fade.

Sweat all over his body, he just woke up from a bad dream. Elizabeth was gone, gone forever in that awful plane. That day was
written in pain in his brain. She had said that he was like Odysseus, gone in some search, never really there. Oh, she had loved him, but she wanted a little more and he was not ready.
